The demise of Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14 has left the whole of India shocked and saddened. At 34, the actor was at the prime of his professional life. He had delivered a 150 crore+ hit with Chhichhore. Just after his demise, the Mumbai Police said he died by suicide and that depression prescriptions were found from his residence. Celebrities condoled the death but leaked visuals from the crime scene left people wondering that they might be more than what meets the eye. There has been an incessant demand for a CBI Enquiry in the matter. Everything got murkier after Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh filed a FIR against Rhea Chakraborty. The charges levelled against her are rather serious in nature.
Last night, Ankita Lokhande spoke to Republic TV. She said that it was impossible that someone like Sushant would be depressed. Ankita Lokhande said that he could have been sad, unhappy or anxious but terms like bipolar and clinical depression are huge. She said, “Jab yeh news aayi, it was written everywhere he committed suicide. It took time for me to accept it. Sushant wasn’t that kind of guy who will be under depression or kisi cheez se upset hua and he takes this step. When we were together we have been through a tougher situation than this and we came out of it. Later when I started thinking about what happened that in 15mins his videos and pictures were leaked from his house and everyone started telling that it is a suicide, I knew he cannot be depressed.”

The actor’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti has shared a link of the interview and said #SatyamevaJayate. She has been seeking justice for her late brother on social media. As we know, Ankita Lokhande was very close to Sushant Singh Rajput’s family and this shows how much they appreciate her coming forward with such assistance.
